- Type your destination city (e.g. "Tokyo, Japan").
- Set your trip dates or duration (e.g. 5 days).

Generation tiers
A quick overview — great for short weekend trips or when you just need a skeleton to build on. Covers key stops with basic info.
A full multi-day itinerary with detailed stop descriptions, estimated durations, suggested meal spots, and practical tips. Perfect for most trips.
The most comprehensive output — rich cultural context, alternative options for each stop, logistics notes, and insider knowledge. Ideal for longer or complex trips.
Best months panel
When you confirm a destination that's in our database, a coloured banner appears showing the best months to visit and whether you're currently in peak or shoulder season. Use this to plan smarter timing.
Trip Timeline 📅
The Timeline is your day-by-day itinerary view. Each day is a section, and each stop inside it shows everything you need at a glance.

Each itinerary has a Notes section — a free-form text area for anything you want to keep handy during your trip.
Common things travelers put here:
- Hotel confirmation numbers and check-in details
- Flight booking references
- Emergency contacts and local embassy numbers
- Visa requirements or entry conditions
- Currency exchange reminders
- Personal packing lists
Explore Screen 🔍
The Explore screen is your discovery hub. It surfaces curated destination collections and helps you find new places to add to future trips.
Destination chips
At the top of the Explore screen you'll see scrollable city chips — Tokyo, Bali, Istanbul, and more. Tap one to see a summary card showing:
- 🔥 Peak season — You're visiting during the busiest time of year.
- 🌿 Shoulder season — Great timing: fewer crowds, often lower prices.
- Best months — The ideal window to visit this city.
Curated collections
Below the chips are hand-picked collections created by the WeWiGo team — things like "Hidden Beaches in Southeast Asia", "Weekend Escapes from Tokyo", or "Europe's Underrated Capitals". Tap any card to explore the stops inside.
Sustainability Signals 🌿
WeWiGo believes that traveling smarter means traveling more sustainably. That's why we surface crowd and seasonality data throughout the app — so you can make better-informed choices.
Crowd levels
You'll see one of three crowd indicators on stop cards and in the Explore screen:
Low visitor traffic — you're likely to have a relaxed, unhurried experience.
Average crowds — enjoyable but plan to arrive early or during off-peak hours.
High demand — book ahead, expect queues, and consider visiting early morning or late afternoon.
Best months to visit
On destination city chips and the generate screen, we show the ideal window to visit based on weather, crowd patterns, and shoulder-season research. The panel turns green during shoulder season and red during peak — giving you a quick read on your timing.
Pre-booking alerts
Stops that regularly sell out or require advance tickets (like the Sagrada Família, Kremlin, Universal Studios Singapore) show an amber alert banner. Tap Check availability to open a search for tickets right away.
Reviews & WeWiGo Score ⭐
Every stop in WeWiGo can be reviewed by the community. Reviews are aggregated into the WeWiGo Score — a composite quality indicator out of 10.
What makes up the WeWiGo Score?
- Average star rating (1–5 stars) from community reviews
- Worth-it ratio — what percentage of reviewers said it was "worth the visit"
- Sentiment score — overall positive vs. negative sentiment from review text
How to leave a review
- Open any stop's detail page.
- Scroll to the Reviews section and tap Write a Review.
- Give a star rating, answer "was it worth it?", and add optional tags and a comment.
- Tap Submit — and earn points for contributing!
Community tags
Tags are the quick labels reviewers attach to a stop — things like "Scenic", "Kid-friendly", "Overrated", "Hidden gem", "Great food nearby". The top 5 most-used tags are shown on the stop detail page, giving you an instant vibe check.

Frequently Asked Questions ❓
Is WeWiGo really free?
Yes. Downloading and using WeWiGo is completely free. You don't need a subscription to browse the Explore screen, read reviews, post to the feed, or follow other travelers. The only thing that costs points is generating an AI itinerary — and you can earn those points for free just by using the app.
Do my WeWiGo Points expire?
No. Points never expire. They stay in your account until you spend them, regardless of how long it's been since you last used the app.
Can I edit an AI-generated itinerary?
Absolutely. The AI gives you a starting point — everything it generates is fully editable. You can rename stops, change durations and costs, reorder days, delete stops you don't want, and add your own custom stops.
What if I run out of points mid-trip?
You can still use everything else in the app — browsing, posting, reviewing, following. You just won't be able to generate a new AI itinerary until you earn or buy more points. Existing itineraries remain fully accessible.
How accurate is the AI-generated itinerary?
The AI (Claude by Anthropic) produces high-quality, coherent itineraries based on its training knowledge. However, practical details like opening hours, ticket prices, and entry requirements can change. Always verify these with official sources before your trip, especially for ticketed attractions.
Where does the crowd level and best-months data come from?
Crowd levels and best-month windows are curated from a combination of tourism research, seasonal patterns, and community review signals. They represent typical conditions — specific dates (like local festivals or events) can cause unusual spikes. Use them as a guide, not a guarantee.
Can I use WeWiGo offline?
Your saved itineraries and trip notes are cached locally and readable without an internet connection. Generating AI trips, loading the social feed, and fetching live review data requires connectivity.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your posts, trips, and data from our servers. Point balances and purchase history cannot be restored after deletion.
I have a question that's not covered here — how do I contact you?
We'd love to hear from you. Email us at wewigo.official@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
